Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions for the World Infectious Diseases Congress (WIDC 2024) should be made in English and only through the online submission platform. Abstracts submitted in another language than English will be automatically rejected.
  • The abstract must contain at least 1,500 characters and cannot contain more than 3,000 characters (blank spaces, punctuation as well as authors’ affiliation and titles included).
  • Download the sample abstract template of WIDC 2024 for the reference.
  • The presenting author biography with not more than 100 words must include in the abstract. Please inset a high-resolution image of presenting author in the abstract.
  • Abbreviations should be defined.
  • Please check carefully for typographical errors, misspellings, poor hyphenation, etc. Please check that your abstract title is correct.
  • A highly qualified reviewers will assess all abstracts submitted to the conference.  After submission you will receive a confirmation email within two business days. Please check your spam folder If the email doesn’t appear.

The three abstracts submitted for the WIDC 2024 with the highest scores will be shortlisted prior to the event and highlighted in the congress promotional campaign. The winner from each list will be presented with an award at the congress.
